Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov has given instructions on the readiness of the Azerbaijani army to resolutely stop provocations that may be committed by Armenia, AzVision.az reports.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the operational situation on the conditional Azerbaijani-Armenian border and in the Karabakh economic region was analyzed.
Colonel-General Hasanov gave instructions for Azerbaijani units to continue taking the necessary response measures to the intense shelling of the positions of Azerbaijan by the Armenian armed forces and illegal Armenian armed formations.
He also ordered the suppression of illegal military transportation on the territory of the Karabakh economic region and any attempts to install long-term fortifications, constant monitoring of enemy actions, and readiness to resolutely suppress any provocations.
