On July 14, the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place at the joint session of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, AzVision.az reports citing the local press.
“I do solemnly swear to faithfully serve the people of Uzbekistan, to strictly follow the Constitution and laws of the Republic, to guarantee the rights and freedoms of its citizens, and to conscientiously exercise the duties vested to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” Mirziyoyev said at the ceremony.
