Russia is in contact with Azerbaijan regarding the situation in Karabakh, said Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian MFA Maria Zakharova.
Zakharova stated that The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia will make a statement after these communications.
On September 19, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced the beginning of anti-terrorist measures of local character in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
