Zarzand Gabrielyan, spokesman for the press service of the Armenian Interior Ministry made the statement, AzVision.az reports citing Armenian media.
Earlier, the organizers of the rally called on their supporters to block the streets in the center of the Armenian capital. The protesters split into several groups and started blocking various intersections.
In some cases, there were clashes with the police, who deployed additional forces to the place of action.
