The Azerbaijan-Hungary Joint Intergovernmental Commission held nine meetings to date, the 10th is scheduled to be held in Baku in April next year, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev said during an event dedicated to the celebration of the national holiday of Hungary, AzVision.az reports.
Babayev said that the official visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Hungary in January this year made a great contribution to the further development of high-level relations and to strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
"Among the documents signed during the visit, the Joint Declaration on Strengthening Strategic Partnership deserves special attention. More than 50 documents signed between our countries in the previous years ensured the creation of a legal basis for existing relations," the minister said.
In addition, Sahil Babayev also noted that the activities of Hungarian companies in support of reconstruction and construction work carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan are crucial for strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
