According to the article, India is planning to send additional shipments which may include military equipment aimed at enhancing Armenia’s deterrence capabilities.
The contracts are worth 20 billion rupees ($244.7 million).
The decision comes after the successful delivery of an initial batch of weaponry last year.
A high-ranking Armenian official has recently made a visit to New Delhi for discussions on this matter.
The previous shipment sent by India to Armenia included a range of military equipment such as Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launchers, anti-tank missiles, rockets and ammunition. The arms deliveries were made via a transport corridor through Iranian territory.
