President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration between Turkic nations during a joint press statement with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, AzVision.az reports.
"The unification of the Turkic world, the unity of peoples with common roots, will strengthen each member of the Organization of Turkic States," President Aliyev stated.
He announced that the upcoming informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States will be held in Shusha, Azerbaijan, in July 2024. "The President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, who has observer status, will also be invited to participate," he added. "This will further contribute to our shared goals of unity and cooperation among Turkic peoples."
