Officials from Turkey and Azerbaijan recently met to discuss progress on establishing a joint university, a move that would strengthen educational cooperation between the two countries.
Erol Ozvar, head of Turkey's Higher Education Council, met with Emin Amrullayev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education, during Ozvar's visit to Azerbaijan. The Turkish embassy in Azerbaijan announced the news of the meeting on social media.
The discussions reportedly focused on the ongoing process of establishing the Turkey-Azerbaijan University, along with exploring other collaborative opportunities in the education sector.
