President Ilham Aliyev and his Kazak counterpart arrive in Shusha city

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev have visited the city of Shusha, AzVision.az reports.

The heads of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan viewed statues of prominent Azerbaijani figures: poet Natavan, singer Bulbul, and composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli, who were killed during the Armenian occupation of Shusha. They were also briefed on the General Plan of Shusha.

Following this, the heads of state visited the Natavan spring and viewed the "Heydar Aliyev and Karabakh" exhibition at the Creativity Center, restored by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.

Later, the presidents' tour included Saatli Mosque, Bulbul's House-Museum, Cidir Plain, and Yasamen Hotel, a complex of three residential buildings built in the mid-19th century in the traditional style of the Karabakh school of architecture.
