Azerbaijan-Croatia Business Forum held in Baku

The Azerbaijan-Croatia Business Forum, jointly organized by the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and the Croatian Chamber of Economy, took place in Baku, AzVision.az reports.

The Deputy Minister of Culture Farid Jafarov emphasized the strong foundation of friendship and shared interests upon which Azerbaijan and Croatia's political relations are built. He highlighted the importance of fostering connections between entrepreneurs from both nations to strengthen economic ties, expressing confidence that the forum would promote mutual investments.

Croatia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Branko Zebić, and Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Croatia, Anar Imanov, identified potential for collaboration in various sectors, including trade, investment, agriculture, and energy. They emphasized the significant contribution that meetings and events like this forum can make to strengthening cooperation between business communities.

Discussions focused on expanding trade and investment partnerships between the two countries, and participating entrepreneurs held bilateral meetings.

State officials, along with representatives from over 40 companies in the food, construction, trade, and energy sectors, attended the event. Notably, AZPROMO's Executive Director Yusif Abdullayev, the Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov, and Silva Stipić Kobal, Director of the Business Internationalization Center of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, delivered presentations and engaged in discussions about the business and investment potential of both countries, exploring possible avenues for collaboration.

The forum concluded with B2B meetings between participating businesses.
