The announcement was made by the UNGA President's spokesperson Monica Grealy, AzVision.az reports.
According to her, Francis will attend the 11th Global Baku Forum on March 15. "The President of the UN General Assembly will participate in a panel discussion on targets that can be set for the SOR29 conference to be held from 11 to 22 November in Baku," she said.
The spokesperson added that the President of the General Assembly will hold several meetings with government and state representatives in Baku.
