The House of Commons of the UK Parliament will hold a hearing on international support for Armenians resettled from Karabakh on March 19.
These hearings will be held at the initiative of Scottish National Party member Carol Monoco, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told Azertag.
The Azerbaijani community of Great Britain has sent a letter of informational character to the members of Parliament who will take part in the hearings and expressed strong opposition to this step.
A letter on behalf of the British Azerbaijani Society, the Glasgow and Aberdeen Student Societies, a group of Azerbaijani students studying in the UK addressed to members of the country's Parliament, and a letter from the Co-ordinating Council of British Azerbaijanis sent to the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, calls on MPs who support hearings on the issue to take a fair stance.
