  ANAMA employee injured in landmine blast in Shusha

On April 27, a landmine incident occurred in the territory of Gaibali village of Azerbaijan’s Shusha district, which was liberated from occupation.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, the Press Services of the General Prosecutor's Office and the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) jointly released information about this, AzVision.az reports.

Elchin Guliyev (born in 1981), an ANAMA employee, was injured as a result of an anti-personnel mine explosion while performing his duties.

The injured employee was diagnosed with amputation of the right leg, the paramedic of the agency provided first aid on the spot and was evacuated to the district hospital. Currently, his condition is stable.

The Shusha district prosecutor's office is investigating the incident.
