Azerbaijan, Italy mull bilateral, multilateral cooperation

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Vice President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament Giorgio Mule, who is on a visit to our country to participate in the VI Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.

Bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy, as well as the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period, were discussed at the meeting, the Foreign Ministry told AzVision.az. 

It was emphasised that there are broad prospects for further development of cooperation in economy, trade, energy security, transport and communications, education, culture and other spheres. Ceyhun Bayramov informed Giorgio Mule in detail about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period, the large-scale reconstruction and construction works carried out in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as the mine problem in the region.

During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
