Deputy PM: Belarus-Azerbaijan relations reach new heights

The ties between Belarus and Azerbaijan continue to develop dynamically, covering increasingly diverse spheres of mutually advantageous collaboration, Igor Petrishenko, the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus, AzVision.az reports.

Petrishenko said that a recent joint meeting of the intergovernmental commission was held with the participation of his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ali Ahmadov. During the meeting, all the instructions given by the heads of state during the state visit of the President of Belarus to Azerbaijan were thoroughly elaborated upon.

"These are issues related to expanding the range and volume of assembled equipment, creating a corresponding service center, establishing enterprises for the production of fertilizers, and increasing the supply of medicines," the deputy prime minister emphasized.

"Our task is to efficiently implement all the directives given by the leaders of our countries so that we can report to them in November, and our friends in Azerbaijan and your friends in Belarus can feel the significant progress and results of our interaction," Petrishenko stressed.
