The ambassador noted that since climate change has become a global problem, Peru is also affected by these negative processes:
“Floods and other natural disasters often occur in our country. Therefore, COP29, which will be hosted by Azerbaijan, is a great opportunity to discuss all these problems and find their solutions, and Peru will also send a delegation to this international event, which reflects the global problem.”
Emphasizing that Baku has successfully hosted many important international events, Ambassador Cesar Diaz expressed his confidence that Azerbaijan will also implement COP29 at a high level.
