The captain of the Uzbekistan Airways aircraft, operating the Istanbul-Samarkand flight, requested an emergency landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, AzVision.az reports.
The reason for this was a sudden deterioration in the health of one of the passengers.
All airport services were brought to a state of full readiness to respond promptly to the situation.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at Baku Airport at 18:45 local time. The passenger was immediately given first aid. After his health improved and with his consent, the passenger continued the journey to his destination.
