A deputy energy minister of Azerbaijan will attend the first meeting of Central Asian energy ministers to be held in Astana on August 6, a source in the Kazakh Ministry of Energy told reporters.
According to the ministry, the meeting will be chaired by the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, Almasadam Satkaliev.
The event also schedules speeches by the energy ministers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
