Azerbaijan’s taekwondo fighter Gashim Magomedov will compete for the gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
He secured his place in the final with a 2-0 (9-4, 11-1) victory over Italy’s Vito Dell'Aquila.
Magomedov will face South Korean Park Tae-joon in the 58kg gold medal bout.

Azerbaijan’s taekwondo fighter Gashim Magomedov (58kg) has advanced to the semifinals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
He secured his place by defeating Spain’s Adrian Vicente Yunta 2-0 (11-5, 13-11).
Magomedov will next face Italy’s Vito Dell'Aquila.
