Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan and COP29 Chief Negotiator Yalcin Rafiyev presented Azerbaijan's initiatives within the COP29 agenda at a panel held at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), AzVision.az reports.
Yalcin Rafiyev took part in the panel discussion “Connecting Continents: Climate Leadership Dialogue from Baku to Belem”. He provided the panel with detailed information on the expected outcomes of COP29, the initiatives put forward by Azerbaijan within the framework of the conference agenda, and the potential long-term global legacy of COP29.
Brazilian officials and other participants highly appreciated Azerbaijan's efforts in this area, and future prospects for cooperation between the two countries were discussed. This event, which will host COP29 in Azerbaijan, will further strengthen the country's role in international climate policy.
