The new school building for 132 pupils built by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been put into use in Hajigadirli village of Shamakhi district, AzVision.az reports.
Representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the executive power of Shamakhi district, teaching and pupil collectives of the school, and villagers attended the inauguration of the school building.
Shamil Azizov, representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Shamakhi District Executive Power Head Tahir Mammadov congratulated teachers and pupils on handing over the new school building.
Head of Shamakhi district executive power Tahir Mammadov spoke of state care for the development of education in the country, including strengthening of material and technical base of secondary schools, construction of new educational institutions in Shamakhi, and projects implemented by Heydar Aliyev Foundation in this field.
Acting Deputy Director of the school Sheyda Sheydayev noted in his speech that the school has been provided with necessary equipment. He expressed gratitude to the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva on behalf of the school staff and villagers.
To note, the building of a full secondary school in Hajigadirli village of Shamakhi district was constructed in 1975. As the building was in unusable condition, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation constructed a new school building for 132 pupils. The two-story school building consists of three blocks. The school is fully equipped with necessary furniture and equipment, and subject rooms and laboratories with visual aids. There are ten classrooms, laboratories for physics, chemistry, computer science, military training and labor training, a library, a canteen, assembly and sports halls, and an and an outdoor sports ground. The new educational institution is provided with a permanent water supply, heating, as well as fire warning and video surveillance systems. The 122 students will be taught by 16 teachers.
