The Azerbaijan Innovation and Digital Development Agency, in collaboration with government entities, has cooked up a roadmap to figure out which services are ripe for digitalization and the order in which they’ll get the digital makeover, Chairperson of the Agency Inara Valiyeva told reporters, AzVision.az reports.
"More than 40 different informational and documentary services are currently available through the 'mygov' platform. However, the legal framework has been established only for four of them: death, birth, marriage certificates, and identity cards.
As for the other services, almost all of them are already available through 'mygov', but our goal is to make these services as convenient as possible for citizens by using a life-event format. For example, if a citizen becomes a parent, he/she will be able to complete the entire process of obtaining the necessary documents in a fully digital format - without needing to visit different government institutions or switch from one platform to another
