“The holding of COP29 in Azerbaijan is a decision made unanimously by nearly 200 countries. And it is an important factor that shows our international authority and respect,” said President Ilham Aliyev as he addressed the first session of the seventh convocation of the Milli Majlis, AzVision.az reports.
Emphasizing that there will be no step back in foreign policy, the head of state noted: “The number of our friends on all continents is increasing.” “We will conduct a more active foreign policy now - after the second Karabakh war and after restoring our sovereignty,” President Ilham Aliyev underlined.
