Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan to conduct computer-assisted tactical command-staff exercise

In accordance with the Bilateral Cooperation Plan for 2024, signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a joint computer-assisted tactical command-staff exercise titled "Maharat-2024" will be held between the two countries, AzVision.az reports via Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense.

The exercise will take place at the Military Games Center of the Military Management Institute starting from September 30, with the participation of over 100 military personnel from both nations.

The primary goal of the exercise is to improve the operational coordination between the armies of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, enhance combat capabilities, and develop the decision-making, initiative, and command skills of operational unit commanders.

To note, the "Maharat-2024" computer-assisted tactical command-staff exercise will continue until October 6.
