The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan has condemned the attack on the residence of the UAE ambassador in Sudan, AzVision.az reports.
"We strongly condemn the attack on the residence of the United Arab Emirates' Ambassador in Khartoum, Sudan.
The attack on diplomatic premises is a blatant violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, that is unacceptable. It is of utmost importance to uphold the inviolability of diplomatic premises based on international law," the ministry wrote on its page on X.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously reported that a Sudanese military aircraft had struck the residence of the UAE ambassador in Khartoum, causing "significant damage" to the building.
