Russia's Moscow to host CIS Foreign Ministers Council meeting - official

A meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS will be held in Moscow on October 7, the Spokesperson for Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said during a briefing in the city today, AzVision.az reports.

According to her, the meeting, chaired by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, will sum up preliminary results of joint work within the framework of the organization's Russian chairmanship in 2024.

“Particular attention will be paid to the preparation and celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War,” she added.

To note, the latest meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers was held this April in Belarus.
