Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, delivered a speech at the 3rd Belt and Road Energy Ministerial Conference held in China, AzVision.az reports citing Shahbazov's post on X.
In his address, Shahbazov highlighted Azerbaijan's contribution to the Belt and Road Initiative and the growing Azerbaijan-China relations.
The minister emphasized that the Declaration on Strategic Partnership signed between Azerbaijan and China in July this year has paved the way for enhanced energy cooperation within the framework of the Silk Road project.
Shahbazov also shed light on the concept of "green energy corridors" that aim to create integrated regional electricity markets connecting Asia and Europe and prospects for cooperation with China within the framework of these projects.
