Chairman of the Health Committee of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, Chairman of the Environment, Natural Resources and Health Protection Commission of TURKPA, Ahliman Amiraslanov, as well as Aghalar Valiyev, member of TURKPA's Economic Cooperation Commission, MP, participated in the press conference on the results of the short-term observation of the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
During the press conference, the delegation pointed out that in accordance with the Regulations of TURKPA "On Election Observation" and relevant international documents, the mission adhered to the principles of objectivity, justice, transparency and impartiality in its activities.
The TURKPA mission concluded that the parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan were conducted in line with the national legislation and international election standards.
The TURKPA launched its observation mission in Uzbekistan on October 25. As part of the observation program, the mission held meetings with Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva, and Chairman of the CEC of Uzbekistan, Zayniddin Nizamkhodjaev.
