At the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Edgars Rinkēvičs, President of Latvia, will participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Latvia will be represented by a large delegation,” Edgars Skuja, Latvian Ambassador to Azerbaijan said, AzVision.az reports citing Azertag.
“We are delighted for Azerbaijan’s hosting of the COP29 Conference. The event will address complex topics such as climate finance. We will take part in every discussion and activity during the event,” the diplomat noted.
