Azerbaijan discloses total number of casualties due to mines laid by Armenia

The total number of mine victims in Azerbaijan stands at 3,460, including 359 children and 38 women, a source in the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told Trend.

The source said that from 1991 to November 10, 2020, 2,418 people were injured, 530 lost their lives, and 131 were injured by cluster munitions, with the total number of mine victims during that period reaching 3,079.

"From November 10, 2020 [when the Second Karabakh War ended], to the present, the number of injured has been 311, and the number of fatalities is 70. Over these years, the total number of mine victims has reached 381," the source added.
