Azerbaijan and Armenia engage in talks on border delimitation process

Azerbaijan and Armenia discussed order of border delimitation sections during the 10th meeting of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia and the Commission on the Matters of Delimitation of the State Border and Border Security between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan under the chairmanship of Shahin Mustafayev, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Mher Grigoryan, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, on November 1, 2024, on the border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, AzVision.az reports.

The Parties exchanged views on the sequence of the areas/sections of the border line to be used for the implementation of delimitation work in the next phase.

The Parties discussed drafts of the relevant instructions regarding the procedures for the delimitation work.

The Parties agreed to determine the date and location of the next meeting in a working order.

Following the conclusion of the Commission's meeting, Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Mher Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, separately discussed issues related to transportation communications.
