A delegation led by Pakistani Prime Minister's Coordinator for Climate Change, Rumina Khurshid Alam has arrived in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan to participate in COP 29. The delegation includes Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Climate Change Atiqur Rehman, senior officials, researchers, scientists and other climate experts.
On arrival in Baku, she said that Pakistan will highlight mitigation and adaptation measures being taken in the country for climate adaptation and environmental stability. She emphasized that Pakistan will try to find new opportunities for cooperation with regional and international partners. The Prime Minister's Coordinator will also hold meetings with delegations from various countries to advance the agenda of environment finance for developing countries in Baku.
