“The COP event, marking the first such event in the Turkic world, is of great importance for all of us,” Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), said, AzVision.az reports citing AZERTAC.
Highlighting the importance of the event not only for Azerbaijan, but also for the entire Turkic world, the OTS Secretary General added: "At present, one of the primary topics of COP29 is the green world. It is very important that all countries, leaders, experts and international organizations come together to find solutions to combat climate change. I hope that solutions to climate change, including the availability of funds will be ensured within these days."
Kubanychbek Omuraliev congratulated Azerbaijan on hosting COP29 in Baku.
