Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Azerbaijan Ivan Vangu Ngimbi visited the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR on Tuesday.
BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov introduced the ambassador to the university’s state-of-the-art learning facilities and research environment, highlighting the achievements of its students and graduates. The Rector noted that BHOS attaches great importance to international cooperation.
During the meeting, an agreement was reached to enroll three students from the Democratic Republic of the Congo at BHOS starting in the 2025/2026 academic year, with two of them studying under scholarship programs.
This step will make a significant contribution to further strengthening educational ties between the two countries and training skilled young professionals.
