NATO praises activities of Azerbaijani servicemen involved in its programs

As part of the “15th NATO Days” organized under the Individual Partnership Cooperation Programme with NATO, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Director General Agil Gurbanov, met with a delegation led by Rear Admiral Gunnstein Bruåsdal, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Partnerships Directorate at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Defense reported.

During the meeting, the current state of bilateral relations was commended, and views were exchanged on potential areas for further development. The activities of Azerbaijani servicemen participating in the NATO Operational Capability Concept (OCC) and other programs were highly praised. The importance of experience-sharing among servicemen engaged in various exercises and courses, as well as their continued self-development, was emphasized.

Prospects for enhancing relations were also discussed, and questions of mutual interest were addressed.
