Rahman Mustafayev, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia, met with Alexey Gordeyev, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
During the conversation, issues related to bilateral relations at the level of allied activities were discussed, including the activation of interparliamentary contacts between Azerbaijan and Russia.
The meeting also focused on the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which was successfully held in Baku. The Russian side praised the exemplary organization of the event, with Alexey Gordeyev expressing gratitude for Azerbaijan’s warm hospitality.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening interparliamentary cooperation through continued collaboration.
