“Preparations are underway for the hosting the World Urban Forum (WUF) in Baku in 2026,” said Anar Guliyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture.
Noting that this Forum is the second largest event organized by the United Nations (UN) after COP29, Anar Guliyev added: "Currently, intensive work is underway with the UN specialized agency. We are discussing both the organization of the event and administrative issues. Preparatory work regarding the program, content and participants of the event is in progress. Baku will host this event in May 2026."
