Members of the Georgian Parliament’s friendship group with Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis are scheduled to visit Baku next week, according to Irakli Kadagishvili, Chair of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee.
Kadagishvili noted that the visit aims to further strengthen relations between the two countries in a comprehensive manner, rooted in principles of friendship, neighborliness, and strategic partnership.
During the visit, the Georgian parliamentary delegation is expected to meet with Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis, and other officials.
“The friendship and cooperation between the two countries are growing stronger both regionally and internationally. Azerbaijani and Georgian MPs continue to support each other in the international arena,” Kadagishvili emphasized.
