The list of people who were on board the plane that crashed in Kazakhstan this morning, published by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), includes 62 passengers, AzVision.az reports.

An Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by AZAL, which was en route from the Azerbaijani capital of Baku to Grozny, the capital of Russia’s North Caucasus region of Chechnya, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau earlier on Wednesday. According to preliminary information, there were 62 passengers and five crew members on board the plane, including 16 Russian, 37 Azerbaijani, six Kazakh, and three Kyrgyz nationals, as well as five crew members. Media reports say that at least 28 people have survived.
