In line with President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, the return of former internally displaced persons (IDPs) to the liberated territories is ongoing. On December 27, the latest relocation convoy reached the village of Ballija in Khojaly district.
After 32 years, Khojaly continues to welcome its native residents. Today, 21 families, totaling 119 former IDPs, were reunited with their homeland.
The convoy included families who had been temporarily settled in various locations across the country, such as dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
