Iran, Azerbaijan keen to enhance customs ties

Iran, Azerbaijan keen to enhance customs ties

Iranian and Azeri customs officials in a meeting here discussed the further expansion of bilateral ties.

Advisor to the Managing Director of Iran`s Customs Administration Mohammad Hossein Bagh Enayat in a meeting with Head of the Governmental Committee of Azerbaijan Customs Aideen Aliev discussed ways for providing more facilities for exchange of cargo and passengers.

During the meeting attended by Director General of Astara Customs Administration Jahangir Bakhshi invited his Iranian counterpart Masoud Karbasian to pay a visit to Azerbaijan.

Aliev vowed to pay special heed to removal of customs barriers and by holding conferences with Azerbaijan`s customs officials to pave the way for expansion of trade transactions between the two countries.
