Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili will visit Azerbaijan, AzVision.az reports citing the ministry's press service following the minister's meeting with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev.
The meeting participants also discussed preparations for the 10th session of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia, which will be held in Baku in the coming days.
The parties highly appreciated the expansion of the entire spectrum of strategic partnership between the two countries.
"Special attention at the meeting was paid to cooperation in trade, economic, transport and energy areas. The importance of peaceful and stable development of the region [South Caucasus] was noted at the meeting. The parties expressed readiness to strengthen the dynamics of developing strategic partnership between the two countries," the report noted.
