The Azerbaijani Consulate General in Los Angeles has received no information about citizens affected by wildfires in California, Consul General Vugar Gurbanov told reporters.
He noted that amid the fires, the diplomatic mission is working in an enhanced mode to provide support to Azerbaijani citizens if necessary.
"The Consulate General has opened a hotline +1 310 923 4540 for our compatriots. The US hasn't requested international assistance. Earlier, specialists from Canada and Mexico arrived in California on their own initiative to fight the fires," the diplomat added.
