Prosecutor General: 41 people became victims of Armenian landmine terrorism in 2024

Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev stated that in 2024, 41 people became victims of explosions caused by landmines and military munitions planted by Armenia. During an expanded meeting addressing the progress in the fight against crime, investigative capabilities, and prosecutorial oversight in 2024, Kamran Aliyev revealed that five of the victims were killed, while 36 were injured.

The Prosecutor General also emphasized that from November 2020 to the present, 382 people have fallen victim to landmine and military ammunition explosions, resulting in 70 fatalities and 312 injuries.
