  Nizami Ganjavi International Center hosts official reception on 13th Global Baku Forum

The Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC) hosted on Friday an official reception dedicated to the upcoming 13th Global Baku Forum.

The event brought together the representatives of diplomatic corps accredited to Azerbaijan, as well as the members of international organizations.

Addressing the event, Rovshan Muradov, NGIC Secretary General, provided a detailed overview of the 13th Global Baku Forum scheduled to take place in the Azerbaijani capital on March 13-15 this year. He underscored that the Forum would focus on the topical matters and would see discussions amid the global challenges, with the participation of the high-ranking official from various countries.

In her remarks, Nigar Arpadarai, UN climate change high-level champion for COP29 Azerbaijan, spoke about the climate change, one of the key topics of the Forum, and its global impacts, also highlighting the country’s efforts in this area.

Vladanka Andreeva, UN Resident Coordinator in Azerbaijan, commended NGIC’s role in international dialogue and peace initiatives.

Edgars Skuja, Latvian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, touched upon the development of relations between the two countries, emphasizing the NGIC’s contributions to the international collaboration.

The event also featured the screening of the 13th Global Baku Forum’s promotional video, featuring remarks by experts, politicians, and heads of international organizations.

The 13th edition of the Global Baku Forum under the moto “Rethinking World Order: Turning Challenges Into Opportunities”, will be held in Baku on March 13-15, 2025, gathering over 300 participants from different countries.
