Deputy Minister: OSCE Minsk Group activity is unsatisfactory
On Thursday, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov met with the delegation led by chairman of the Azerbaijani-German Forum (AGF), Hans-Eberhard Shleyer and Deputy Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany on the economy, energy, industry, medium-sized businesses and art Gunther Horsetski.

AzVision.az reports with reference to the press service of the Foreign Ministry that according to Khalafov, the OSCE Minsk Group aimed at the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is not satisfactory. The deputy minister noted the need to involve other political mechanisms and the possibility of using the potential of Germany and the European institutions in this matter.

According to Shleyer, in recent years an interest of members of the Bundestag to the events of AGF dedicated to the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is increasing. It is also noted with regret that a number of materials about Azerbaijan, published in Germany, have double standards.

Recalling that next year Germany will chair the OSCE, Shleyer touched upon new initiatives aimed at achieving progress in the settlement of the conflict.
