In line with the 2025 joint action plan signed between the Ministry of Defense and the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, representatives from the Ombudsman's Office visited one of the military units, the Ministry of Defense reported.
The representatives familiarized themselves with the servicemen's living conditions and provision within the military unit. They met with the personnel, inquired about the health status of those receiving treatment at the medical point, and assessed the medical services provided.
During the visit, a discussion took place regarding the protection of servicemen's rights, the state of human rights protection, and other relevant matters. Servicemen's questions were addressed, and the conditions within the military unit, including the moral-psychological state of the personnel and ideological work, were positively evaluated.
