Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olexandr Mischenko to discuss key issues on the cooperation agenda between the two countries and regional developments.
The parties reaffirmed their countries’ consistent stance on sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the inviolability of borders, emphasizing the importance of bilateral relations based on the fundamental principles of international law and mutual respect.
Olexandr Mischenko expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's contribution to the reconstruction of Ukraine’s war-affected areas, particularly highlighting the humanitarian aid provided to the Ukrainian people.
The discussion also covered regional and global issues of mutual interest.
Additionally, the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Ukraine held political consultations, led by Azerbaijani Deputy Minister Samir Sharifov and Olexandr Mischenko.
