The meeting provided participants with detailed information about the organization’s activities, goals, and directions, followed by a video presentation featuring the projects implemented by the organization at the international level for the last two years.
Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, stated that recently the organization’s website and social media profiles have been subjected to massive cyberattacks, with foreign interference sharply increasing. In this regard, journalists were shown a video reflecting foreign interventions, based on real facts.
The meeting also addressed the biased and hostile claims deliberately put forward by French officials and media outlets against Azerbaijan and the BIG. Abbasov emphasized that one of the goals of organizing the visit of foreign journalists is to tangibly prove that these biased accusations do not reflect the truth.
As part of the visit, 12 foreign media representatives will hold numerous meetings and participate in special training sessions in the field of communications.
