The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, held a meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Khalifa Ali Issa Al Harthy, AzVision.az reports citing the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Oman focusing on economic and trade relations, energy security, tourism, education, and regional and international security issues.
The importance of bilateral contacts and the political consultations held in advancing Azerbaijan-Oman relations was emphasized. The establishment of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Oman was noted as a significant step in furthering the development of bilateral ties.
The discussion also included detailed talks on Azerbaijan's initiatives in green energy, transportation, and communications, with a review of potential joint projects in these areas.
